Pelican Bay

Pelican Bay is a community
originally developed by Westinghouse.
It is located west of Rt. 41 on about 2,000 acres. There is a private
27 hole golf course designed by Arthur Hills. Most of the residences
are within 1/2 mile of the beach. Access is by a tram or by walking
the boardwalk over the mangroves to the beach. The beach is nearly
3 miles long. There are private casual dining facilities at the beach for
Pelican Bay residents.
